E-Waste Management Policy

Longowal Enterprises Private Limited

At Longowal Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., we recognize the importance of managing electronic waste (e-waste) in an environmentally responsible and legally compliant manner. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to minimize the environmental impact of obsolete electronic equipment used in our offices, operations, and support infrastructure.

E-waste refers to end-of-life electronic products such as computers, printers, scanners, communication devices, lab analyzers, and other digital assets. We ensure that all such devices are disposed of through authorized and certified e-waste recyclers in accordance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.

Our internal e-waste protocol involves identifying obsolete equipment, securing data erasure, and coordinating with licensed recyclers for safe dismantling and recycling. We also maintain documentation of e-waste movement, disposal certificates, and audit logs as part of our compliance practices.

Employees are encouraged to report and responsibly handle all discarded or malfunctioning IT and electronic equipment through the administrative team. We strictly prohibit unauthorized disposal or resale of company-owned electronic products.

As a responsible organization, we support and promote the principles of reuse, recycle, and recover to contribute to a cleaner environment and reduce our carbon footprint. We also aim to periodically review and improve our e-waste handling processes in line with emerging technologies and legal updates.
